After looking closer...The recone on fleapay looks like a larger diameter cone made to fit.
Ebay example has spider overhanging frame edge, has a 3rd number blacked out on the cone, surround is mounted to the front of the cone when it should be rear mounted.

Bear in mind there are Mark IV Audio and later EV Telex versions. If I had to hazard a guess, the rough back cones are Mark IV and the smooth ones later cost cutting measures. Non pressed cones tend to have lower bass response. I haven't done comparisons.
