    yes sir...
    if you look at the earlier post, I displayed the link imgur provides for BB/forums....it added a couple of characters beyond the jpg suffix, which i assume was the culprit.

    so i copied the link, removed the extra characters and voila, it worked fine

    Yeah, I did, but didn't occur to me to try deleting them till after I was ensconced in front of the boob tube; then you called and got sufficiently sidetracked enough to forget mentioning it. There's been other sites that did this, but the only one I could remember now has coding that will 'flash' it just long enough to see a glimpse of it before going blank, so presume it takes a good [top tier?] hacker to defeat it.
