    1967 date code

    small rectangular decal reads:

    Part no 21442
    Impedance 10 ohms

    Ones labeled "418 type" and similar in my experience were OEM models that came in cabinets. I have seen mostly Kustom and Sunn. I don't know if "418 type" meant they were just 418's or were custom modded for the OEM.
    Here is a Kustom 16 ohm version. I have also seen 4 ohm versions. The later 422z had 4 ohm versions for use with the crappy 771 biamp in an attempt to get 60 watts out of the LF amp.

    Just a shared observation from the OP's above posted label pic.

    In addition to yet another part number and decal type, it appears the change to philips head screws holding the magnet cover on was made by '72.

    That eBay pair, the cone part is 21353. I've got images of 418s, 421s and 422s with this part number, varying suffixes. Seems to be the MI cone.
