    They are just coming into the market...at least 50% stronger than neodymium at 1/20th the cost.

    Hopefully we'll see a new generation of lightweight high performance speakers.

    Another thing that wil affect speaker motors is graphene copper wire. Dramatically lowered resistance allows more turns on the coil for a given RE. Primarily for woofers.

    Edit: It occurs to me the same thing could probably be done with aluminum wire.
