    Polyester diaphragms can be problematic. They deform at higher temperatures. Polyimide is much better, PEEK better still.

    I notice the limitation on the low end - I wonder if a real Altec/GPA diaphragm, like a 909, would work in it.

    If you'll notice, the body of the driver seems to have a ring of small round magnets. I wonder if anyone has plotted or mapped how the different magnetic fields interact with one another...

    I'm not at all suggesting they're on any sort of level like an ALE or Goto Unit.

    But, Endo San, and Seya Goto apparently found a way to optimize multiple magnet slugs into some of the finest drivers available at any cost.
