    Nice product: iFi Signature One

ZEN One Signature by iFi audio - The hi-res home audio hub for all your digital devices.

Rock solid blue-tooth, sounds great with the Altecs.
I use it with an Apple Music subscription and any old iPad with the Apple Music app.
Plug your Toslink from the TV, stream audio…out a nice DAC.
Boy, I wish I had a beautifully restored McIntosh tube preamp from about 1962 to stick this into.

    Does this qualify as gibberish?

No. I mostly stream these days. I ripped all my CDs to flac files and use Roon/Tidal via my server using my phone as a remote control, to my 604s via a tube pre and monobloc amps.

Streamed remastered Muddy Waters and Stones 12x5 this am. This afternoon is Kraftwork, Bauhaus, Cabaret Voltaire...

If you ask a typical street denizen about a woofer with an Fs of xx and a Q of xx you are likely to get a blank stare. We do speak our own language.

What streaming sites are you using for hi-res audio? I think $3.99/month would be my limit. even cheaper maybe.

Googled it, clicked on the link and yet another website Chrome's new protection has locked me out of.

You cannot visit Apple right now because the website sent scrambled credentials that Chrome cannot process. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.
To date, I've not been able to connect to any of these various links!

I use to long ago, but wanted Gmail to replace my then going away AT&T yahoo mail and been happy with Chrome till now, so will for now have to use Avast's secure browser that doesn't save anything, so will have to make a link for everywhere I want to go more than once.

I haven't had an issue using GMAIL with Firefox, but I don't use GMAIL a lot. I like mail.com a lot better.

Interesting! Thanks! Didn't know it worked in other browsers.
