    I saw those when they were first listed (for a lot more money). It’s crazy how much they look like the EH800.

    I like how the devaned 811/511 look. I’ve never heard a devaned pair though.

    They beam more over a wider BW plus have stronger (lower frequency) eigenmodes reflecting back to the throat, modulating the driver, which some find more 'musical', but ideally needs a super tweeter horn. There use to be some measured responses for the 329 horn, but no joy just now.

    Right, they break up the otherwise large eigenmodes into a bunch of smaller ones for a smoother mids plus a diffused increase of HF response. Note all those little squiggles in the ~2 - 5 kHz BW, increased HF beginning down around 12.5 kHz dip.
