<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It isn't my theory, I just repeated GT's suggestion to run the rings from a low-power amp with no cap in between. You WILL still have to limit the BW sent to that small amp, either with an active XO, or as GT suggested, with a simple 2nd or 3rd order passive network.

Lots of folks apparrently get satisfactory results with the simpler methods described above and in other threads, I just thought I'd add the input of someone that's very familiar with those JBL rings' performance and application.
