Hello everybody,
It has been awhile and many developments have obviously occcured.
I have many questions including the post directly above this one.
Has anyone purchased these?
Any reviews?
Any price change?
Are they still being made?
Alternatives?
Just want to bring this back to life, or put it to rest (I hope not).
Thanks Gang,

I have received answers from Jim on the technical aspects, but am still looking for any reviews from Model 19 owners.
Anybody get a pair of these?

Well, in reading Todd's last post one would assume they are available:

Greetings all, I'm picking up a pair of M-19's in two weeks. They're stated to contain the original components, and be in good overall condition. Anyone care to comment on member v847's questions regarding the 19's crossovers. Is the new super crossover available? All/any information is greatly appreciated.

Thank you I'll contact Jim. If no third party review available, perhaps I can contribute in a month or two.

The Supercrossover for our 704 is available as is the Supercrossover for the Model 19. As Ron stated about Jeff's recommendations, the high end parts are expensive so the crossovers are not cheap.

All do respect to Todd W White, rebuilding a factory set of 25-30 year old M19 crossovers with new components would be a noticable improvement indeed.
I think the price may reflect the time it takes to measure & match the values of the components before assembly, as components, regardless of the noted values marked on them, sometimes are not consistant, also burn in is a factor also.
I would get my tech, who is quite brilliant to say the least, rebuild mine, I would save some money, but more so because he does work for me for a good price.
I don't think Iconic is too out of reach for some & I don't think they are way over priced if they take the time to do the mod correctly.
But to some it may seem rather too expensive.

Well said. $5-600 for new crossovers for speakers costing $1000 is relative to each owner. I'm planning to take the pair I'm picking up this weekend and give them some TLC, including new crossovers from Iconic. After 20 years of service they deserve it, plus I'd like to have them sounding good for the next 20 years.

Hand-made crossovers have never been cheap. Rather, they've always been expensive - the parts for GOOD ones are expensive to buy, and the time it takes to test the parts, assemble them properly, then test them accurately is expensive, too.
I've heard the crossovers Jim is building and am VERY pleased and impressed with their sonic quality. So is everyone that has purchased them, to my knowledge.
