I've heard good things about Edgar round tractrix horns aka. "Salad bowls", but they are supposed to be a little directional witha a smallish sweet spot. Are you planning to make these yourself?

*** Did you remove the metal throat screen?

    DaTubeue,

You must not remove those screens.

    Romy the cat,

Why must you not remove the shield screen?

    Thanks,

Those screens (they usually called bug-screens) perform many important mechanical and acoustical duties. They are not just the shield screens. Removing then will quite significantly affect the performance of the drives will worse many abilities of S2. The bug-screens should not be removed from any compression drive and according to my experiment the S2 is the most sensitive to the ?bug-screens remove affect? then anything else.
