    Hello all,

Can anybody tell me how resistance of a conductor is reducing with increase in cross sectional area.Infact by incresing cross sectional area we are adding more material, that should logically increase the resistence? I am wondering !!!!!!!!!.

I know the formula R = resistivity*length/cross setional area.I want the logic behind it

    Thanks

    Gafoor
