Does the building CODE in Ontario state whether or not a range vent to the outside be required for cooking?
In many homes a charcoal filter is installed instead of a vent to the outside,
The new home has a air purification system installed on the central air handling euipment, but I am not sure if a vent over the cooking unit is still required.
If anyone knows what is required, could you please comment thanks
