Here they are . . .
There are three classifications of the limits of approach and these are dependant upon the worker's training and qualifications.
The "General" limits of approach are for personnel who have not had training on the safe limits of approach. Between 750 & 150,000-volts, unqualified personnel may work no closer than 3m (10') from live equipment. At 150,000-volts to 250,000-volts the limit of approach is 4.5m (15'), and over 250,000-volts unqualified personnel must remain at least 6m (20')away from live equipment.
The "Qualified" limits of approach are for qualified personnel who have the knowledge and training enabling them to work to these limits. An Authorized Person is one who has been appointed by the employer to have access to areas containing, or structures supporting, energized apparatus or conductors. Between 750 & 150,000-volts, a qualified person may work no closer than 0.6m (2') fro energized equipment. Between 15,000 & 35,000-volts the distance is 0.9m (3'). From 35,000-volts to 50,000-volts, the distance is increased to 1.2m (4').
