I will be wiring some 575 watt theatrical lights which will be fed from a 2400 watt dimmer pack, one lamp per dimmer. The dimmer pack has a 20 amp. breaker protecting the circuit. Do I have to use #12 wire through out the circuit even though the load is less then 5 amps? I wanted to fed each fixture with 14/2 AC but possibly I will have to use 12/2. Thanks in advance

It looks like you will need to use #12. I don't see any exceptions in Section 44 that would override 14-104 and Table 13.
