CE vs. CSA

You are correct; CE is not acceptable in Canada.
CE is a European standard. Main problem with CE is that it isn't third party certification, manufacturers approve their own equipment.

I'm being told by an American supplier of theatrical lighting that if an electrical fixture is CE approved it's automatically CSA approved. I think not but am I wrong?
