I was wondering if any one has had an insurance company, ask an electrician to remove all aluminum wire in a house ,or check each and every junction box for good solid connections ?
because they (the insurance company)declare it unsafe!
With out useing a megger to ground to determine wire soundness, then to visually check and twist each joint would be an outlandish price to complish.
so my real question is ,is this the industry norm to requalify alumium wire?
