I have a feeling he'll understand, even if he comes up to Hamilton without calling first. Maybe you all can hang out for a little while and then you can spend the rest of the night with yor sister? ~shrugs~
I know you feel badly for your sister as I would too but she is an adult and she made this choice on her own to marry this guy for his mom, which I think is pretty foolish (no offence to your sister) I say be there for her but remember the choice was hers.
