What does summer have you looking forward to?

I look forward to...

-vacations w/ family
-brookings art festival
-JOhnUK's visit in July
-outings w/ the camera
-my 1st anniversary
-doing mundane household stuff married couples do... like...painting the trim on the garage.... landscaping the yard...painting the kitchen

I'm looking forward to...

From the end of this month, for about 3 months, having more time off from work than I am in work (Just an accumulation of annual leave, but I deserve it!!)

My mother's 80th birthday later this month - she's having a surprise party and family reunion (but sshhhh...don't tell her [img]wink.gif[/img] )

Possibly visiting Ireland, my father's homeland, during the last week in June...(the first time I'll have done that for 37 years or so)

The rugby World Cup in September - I have tickets for both Wales' matches in Cardiff...and an attractive young woman joinng me for the second match [img]wink.gif[/img]

Making friends with two dogs...

A sirloin steak and cheddar mash at Minneapolis airport (if connections go to plan, that is!!)

Oh..and seeing Amy and Mark, of course - and wondering how henpecked he'll be looking nowadays... [img]graemlins/devil.gif[/img]

And...as many Culvers as I can manage to eat without exploding - when I last visited where Amy is living, the town didn't have a Culvers, but now it does!!!!

So...on that first full day I have there, when the demon says "Whaddya wanna do for lunch?", guess what the likely answer is going to be!!!!
