I don't have much to say except when I woke up this morning I did what I am supposed to do. I went to get Kirb out of her kennel down by the fireplace. Except... I got to the coffee table and um yeah, she wasn't there.....

Made me bleu.....

Gonna go be by myself today.....

Amy....Ya know...

We lost my grandmother about gosh maybe 3 weeks ago.......she was 94.....one of those drivers (yes she had her license right up until her bad fall 50 days before her BAD fall)..anyway, she was one of those people, if she was driving and you were the poor person stuck behind her, all you could see into her car was the dashboard... not even her head *L*.

Anyway, the point I want to make is this....And I want to make it strong as I am not able to get here much.

Revel in the past you had with Kirb.
LIVE through the memories you had with Kirb.
KNOW that you did everything right by Kirb.

When I just read your words here I had to respond, cuz it reminded me of what my dad said of his mom, the first Sunday after she had passed.

He said, "Kelley, I just don't know what to do now.
My whole work week is so busy, and your mother and I try to do something special on Saturdays."
Gram (his mom) I always went to visit (a 45 minute drive for him,) to bring her the Sunday paper so she would have something to do for the rest of her day.

Amy, You did this for Kirby.
And now you are experiencing the "pattern of what once was"....
Instead....live for what Kirb would want you to.....and that is ........ all that you did.

Keep you heart alive with the memories, as that is what I am trying to do w/my gram and my dad is trying to do for his mom.

I remember when I lost chance..coming home from work the first day without him.. I just sat and cried cause I was all alone..that night going to bed..I didnt sleep at all..I sat with his blanket and sobbed..Its so hard..when they have been such a big part of your day to day..love you lots..*HUGS*
