My engine, oh and for Indea who asked, it's an
LS1 346ci V8 with all aluminum block, aluminum heads, aluminum driveshaft, and hydraulic cam, in stock form, it made 309HP at the wheels, torque was 341 at the wheels, it now makes 502HP and 480fp's of torque with all it's mods at the wheels "that includes the NOS dry kit which is a 125 shot" Mods include: NOS dry nitrious kit "125 shot", hooker longtube headers, borla replacement y-pipe, corsa cat-back exaust system, removed cats, K&N cold air induction system, msd ignition, B&M short throw shifter, 3.73 gears, auburn rear differential on a chevy 10 bolt,
hardened pushrods, LS6 camshaft with high duration and lift, ported heads"i plan to eventually have the nos be a wet system and be direct port injected"...suspension mods are: COMP fca's, lca's, and bushings, hotchkies 2 1/2" rear stab. bar, sub frame connectors, billstien shocks, and eibach
1 1/2" lowering springs. It's definitly a mean machine, i've put the past year and a half or so of my life into this car, and it is everything i hoped it would be when i got done with it.



Oh, and this is my cockpit.

Ray Ray, if you are into imports, and not domestics, and like that nissan, then go for it, it could be a force if you were to invest in a bigger turbo and/or innercooler for it. Yeah my car has 502hp and 480fp's of torque at the wheels, and only a V8 can offer that kind of power and torque with minimal investment and a few mods, but it weighs 3300 some pounds. If you took that nissan, dropped a bigger turbo and cooler on it, and ran say.......
19-21 pounds of boost,you'd be making around 280-300HP at the wheels, and in that car which weighs probably somewhere around...2200 pounds, that would be more then enough power to run a comfortable 12 second 1/4 ET. you're probably lookin at about $4000-$5000 to do those mods, "including more durable internals so you don't blow up your motor runnin all that boost [img]smile.gif[/img] " So if imports are your thing, then go for it i guess...
