I didn't realize

Ive been on my Thyroid med now for over a month and you know i did not realize how a bad Thyroid could make you feel so bad . i was jittery all the time and nervous and depressed my food didn't digest like it was supposed too. i was ill all the time ,my heart would race... i felt over heated...my cycles we're all outta wack! all kind of things wrong but BOOM soon as i started taking the anti-thyroid med i feel like a million dollars! i don't have any of those symptoms anymore ive never felt so good like i do now .... thank god for medications!

I still have my stomach ulcer pain unfortantly but the symptoms i had with my thyroid has dissapeared thank god .... it took a while for them to diagnose me with thyroid disease .one day soon Tracy they will eventually find a med that will work for you..i always heard Canada had good docs .... now the states has some quacks don't get me wrong you just have to find the right one ..i just happened to find a female doc to listen to my problems and decided to do some blood work to test for thyroid and then of corse i got sent to a specialist to treat my problem. I have faith that soon CG you will be on yer road to recovery *HUGS*

hope so Twiii i am getting so tired and exhausted as each passing day that i am sick...the pain is so horrible..the bleeding is getting worse...I'll probably need a blood transfusion...I am use to them...it just seems like its taking forever *sigh*

You will get better i know it takes time ,maybe you might want to look around for another Doc and get a specialist that specializes in the type of problem your having like a gasterinolgist(sp) i think thats probably a doc that can find and correct your problem. *HUGS*

I do have one of those Twi gasterinolgist...he thinks he has done it all and that its time for surgery now, but no way..i have a wonderful doc that i have been with since i was 16 he has helped me through alot in my life...he just isnt in as much as he should be but i do understand why his son suffers the samething that i am suffering..I go see my doc on friday he has nothing to do with my illness thats why he sent me to a specialist gastro and a blood specialist

I'm glad you are feeling so much better Twi. It's amazing how many problems a person can have due to one little thing being out of whack.

Just recently when I had blood tests done, they found that my potassium levels are low. My doctor says this is most likely the cause of my tiredness, and dizzy spells, and quite possibly also the cause of the pain and numbness in my legs. You just never know eh!

Try another Gastro Doc CG maybe it will take going to another one there has to be some kinda Med that will help ,no need in you being in pain all the time. will put you on a prayer list i know that will work!

Sorry to hear about your potassium causing you problems ,my sis in law has the same thing she passes out alot with hers eat lots of nanners and that should help ya some. *HUGS* to you two
