then you use the Image Magick and the glitter files...

I usually save stuff to my comp and pull it that way so I can reuse the banner and not keep remaking them with the same font. For the banners you want to use black or white text and then transparent background. I usually use black text.

So you get your banner and open ImageMagick Studio. You choose the file that is your banner and click "view".

Your name tage you created should come up and there will be tabs at the top and you will want to click "composite".

Now it will send it back to where it has to choose the url or file from your comp and this is where you choose the glitter file you want. Once you enter the glitter file there is a set of options below. In the gravity box you want to set it to "North" below that there is another set of boxes and you want to set the compose box to "Atop" and below that there is a tiny box to place a checkmark in to tile across the entire picture.

Now click "composite" again. At the top with the tabs you will see "output" click that. And now where it has all the file types below that it has an "output" button, click that one and then save your signature. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

HOW TO MAKE SPARKLE NAMES WITH A COMPUTER

This is what I did on my pc to make a sparkly name. I sent the URLs of the Banner Generator, Image Magic and the Sparkly colors site, to my pc all in one email.

BANNER GENERATOR

Then I went to my pc and clicked on that email. I left it sitting in my window as I went to the other sites.

1---GO TO BANNER GENERATOR, DELETE THE WORDS BANNER GENERATOR AND PUT IN THE TEXT YOU WANT TO SPARKLE.

2---CHOOSE "FONT TYPE" , BROCKSCRIPT IS PRETTY.

3---CHOOSE "FONT SIZE" 60 IS LARGE, 40 IS MEDIUM ETC.

4--JUMP DOWN TO "TEXT COLOR" AND CHOOSE BLACK OR WHITE. Many times you may choose white as your text and it will still come up black. That's OK. Of course if you choose white and it comes up on a white screen, it will be there even though you can't see it. Of course the same with black on black.

5---GO TO "BACKGROUND COLOR", CHOOSE " TRANSPARENT".

6---I LEFT USER TYPE ON "WEBTV", You may need to change it to the other one.

7---CLICK "SUBMIT"

8---YOU WILL SEE "YOUR BANNER IS HERE" CLICK ON "HERE". THE NEXT PAGE YOU WILL SEE WHAT YOU HAVE MADE.

You can make yourself fancy colored names or text with Banner Generator. Just right click and save it, when you see the finished name.

9---AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE THE ADDRESS SHOULD APPEAR IN THE SEARCH TYPE SPACE. THE ADDRESS WILL BE VERY LONG. "HIGHLIGHT IT" AND COPY IT. I PRESS CTRL AND C.

You can make yourself fancy colored names or text with Banner Generator. Just right click and save it, when you see the finished name.

10---I REMOVED THE BANNER GENERATOR WINDOW AND WAS RIGHT BACK IN MY EMAIL WITH ALL THE ADDRESSES. GO TO THE SPARKLY COLOR SITE. I TRIED THIS TWO DIFFERENT WAYS.

A---I CLICKED ON THE COLOR "RUBY" AND CLICKED ON THE - (MINUS SIGN) ON MY PC WINDOW AND MOVED THE RUBY GRAPHIC PAGE DOWN TO MY TASK BAR FOR LATER USE. THAT'S ONE WAY.

B---OR YOU CAN SIMPLY WRITE DOWN THE SPARKLY GRAPHIC ADDRESS TO USE LATER.

NOW ON TO IMAGE MAGICK

11---GO TO IMAGE MAGICK, IN THE "URL" SPACE, PASTE YOUR ADDRESS THAT YOU COPIED BACK AT BANNER GENERATOR OF YOUR NAME. I DO CTRL AND V CLICK ON "VIEW"

12---NOW CLICK ON "COMPOSITE"

13---IN THE "URL" SPACE YOU CAN

A---GO TO THE TASK BAR AND PULL UP THE PAGE WITH THE SPARKLY GRAPHIC ON IT AND HIGHLIGHT IT THEN COPY THE ADDRESS "CTRL" AND "C" THEN REMOVE THE GRAPHIC WINDOW AND "CTRL" AND "V" IN THE "URL" SPACE.

B---OR YOU CAN SIMPLY TYPE IN THE ADDRESS WHICH IS http://webbyfun.lbbhost.com/Sparkles/ruby.gif

14---CHANGE "GRAVITY" TO "NORTH"

15---"COMPOSE" CHANGE TO "ATOP"

16---CHECK "SMALL SQUARE" THAT SAYS "TILE ACROSS AND DOWN THE IMAGE CANVASS"

17---NOW "COMPOSITE"

18---ON NEXT PAGE IS YOUR NAME. AT TOP CLICK ON "OUTPUT"

19---NEXT PAGE "OUTPUT" AGAIN

20---ON NEXT PAGE IS YOUR FINISHED NAME. YOU CAN RIGHT CLICK AND SAVE IT TO YOUR PC. I ALSO CLICKED ON COPY AND GOT THE ADDRESS AND TO IT TO MY WTV-ZONE.COM FILE-DIRECTORY.


you can do it by url too but I did the direct upload from my comp....do you have a glitter file your are uploading the second time you get the url and browse computer selection?
