Well, I took my Dad's Mom into the doctor for a colonoscopy the other day and they found a large tumor which they are almost certain is cancerous. She'll have to have that section taken out and the ends reattached and hopefully it knocks the cancer out.

She had the surgery a few weeks ago to remove the tumor which they did. But they found a couple of lymph nodes full of cancer. So she has to do chemo and see if it works. On top of everything her 80th birthday party is set for May 19th and Wal-Mart refuses to let my husband come in late so he can be there. They want all of us there for pictures and whatnot. I am so pissed because she is going downhill very rapidly and it would mean a lot to her to have all of us there. Last time something like this happened was right before my Grandfather passed away. The place I worked at the time said they would take care of finding someone to replace me on that day.

hell yeah... he needs to come down with a baaaaad case of the fake stomach flu... *L* your grandmother's doctor would probably write one... or your hubby's family doctor... probably with just a phone call... then call them, let them call him a liar, then rub their nose in it when he goes back the next day... i'm sorry to hear about your grandmother... i hope the chemo does it job and things turn out alright...
