Despite a terrible track record when it comes to making love last, ABC's "The Bachelor" just won't die. The show is returning for it's 11th go round thanks to a boost in the ratings it got with "Dancing with the Stars" as its lead-in on Monday nights last season. 34 -year-old Brad Womack will be the new guy looking for love. Womack is described as a "self-made entrepreneur" who currently resides in Austin, TX and co-owns four bars with his brothers.

Womack swears he is ready to settle down and is looking for his soul-mate. My cynical side says maybe Brad is looking for a little publicity for his four bars as well. A little digging revealed the names of those establishments.. "The Chuggin' Monkey", "Dizzy Rooster", "Uncle Flirtys" and "The Marq." Does someone who owns a place called "The Chuggin' Monkey" really want to find true love? Photos on the bars website reveal this is no laid back bar. It's pure party time there. "Bachelor" junkies have already begun debating this guys sincerity all over the internet on various message boards. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since two of his brothers (including a twin) are married. Let's just hope that the producers don't throw too many 21 and 22 year old bachelorettes at him. I can just see the tequila shots flying.

Can't remember what happened to the rest of the Bachelors? Here is a recap. It's a tangled web! Right now they are 3 for 10.

Bachelor 1 - Management consultant Alex Michele picks event planner Amanda Marsh over Trista Rehn as over 18 million folks watch. He doesn't propose instead asking her to move to LA. They break up soon after amidst rumors he continues to contact Rehn. Rehn becomes the show's first "Bachelorette" and later marries her choice, fireman Ryan Sutter. The couple recently gave birth to son Maxwell.

Bachelor 2 - Banker Aaron Buerge proposes to elementary school teacher Helen Eksterowicz as 17 million viewers watch. He breaks up with her five weeks later at a Starbucks.

Bachelor 3 - Andrew Firestone, heir to the Firestone tire fortune proposes to publicist and Chicago native Jen Scheftt. She moves from Chicago to live with him in San Francisco. Seven months after the finale aired they break up. Sheft goes on to becomes the show's second "Bachelorette." She presented the final rose to actor Jerry Ferris but then later dumped him on the show's "After the Final Rose" special.

Bachelor 4 - Bob Guiney, a fan favorite from Trista's crop of 25 available, presents the final rose to Beverly Hills mortgage broker, Estella Gardinier but doesn't propose. Just one month after the finale airs, Bob breaks up with Estella in a phone call just after they attended Trista and Ryan's televised pink-themed wedding ceremony together. Seven months later Bob marries actress Rebecca Budig after meeting her while hosting re-runs of "The Bachelor" on the ABC Family channel.

Bachelor 5 - NFL back-up quarterback for the NY Giants, Jesse Palmer becomes the show's first somewhat famous bachelor. Jesse presents the final rose and a one-way ticket to join him in NY to California law school student Jessica Bowlin. Bowlin later opts not to take the ticket and instead they begin a long distance relationship which ends soon after. Ratings begin a downward slide on the show.

Bachelor 6 - The show's oldest bachelor to date, 40-year-old Fisherman Byron Velvick chooses the show's oldest bachelorette to date, 36-year-old real estate agent Mary Delgado in November 2004. Two years later they are still together but no word on whether they ever got married.

Bachelor 7 - Actor Charlie O'Connell, brother of Jerry O'Connell becomes the shows second famous bachelor. In a move to try and resurrect the aging show's slipping ratings Charlie continues to date the final two women for two months while the show airs. He then offers a promise ring in a live show to labor and delivery nurse Sarah Brice. As of January '07 the couple was still together.

Bachelor 8 - With ratings still down the producers decide to take the show to Paris, France. Emergency room doctor, Travis Stork gives his final rose to fellow Nashville, TN resident, Sarah Stone. He doesn't propose instead opting to offer her the 2.2 engagement ring as a necklace. Fortunately, the kindergarten teacher didn't have to move her whole life to some other town as less than a month after the finale airs they have broken up. Stork cited the shows policy of keeping the happy couples apart for the four months while the show airs as the reason. The Paris gimmick seems to work as ratings improve by 31 percent.

Bachelor 9 - The show sticks with the European city theme and adds a Prince to the mix. Prince Lorenzo Borghese, heir to the cosmetics fortune, chooses eighth-grade teacher, Jennifer Wilson but does not propose. Seven weeks after the finale airs its reported that Borghese has dumped Wilson in favor of his second choice, publicist Sadie Murray. Murray moves to NYC to be with Borghese. They break up three months later. Neither girl becomes a Princess.

Bachelor 10 - Navy doc Andy Baldwin chose social worker Tessa Horst. He proposed. She accepted. As of right now they are still together. The DWTS lead in gives the show a new lease on life and ratings are up.
