Air: .25 Liters every hour, 30-40% oxygen
Food: same amount over 3 hours, took 10cc by mouth last feeding.
Misc: Heart rate lowers when starting feed by mouth then bounces back up after very brief time.
Logical explanation: When you hold your breath your pulse lowers slightly, when you breath it is normal. I.e. he was trying to hold his breath to get more food down. Or another possibility is he was trying to freak the nurse out for the hell of it. [img]biggrin.gif[/img] [img]wink.gif[/img]

He's gaining really well. He should be home in no time. I am guessing that he's trying to wolf down the food so he is holding his breath but freaking the nurse out on purpose is another strong possibility since he is our son after all...LOL. [img]biggrin.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
