... i am once again actively looking at houses to buy.... *sighs*... i looked at a few today... one of them may turn out to be promising, depending on the amount of money they will take for it... cuz it needs some work... inside and out.... it's still a nice house in a decent place, a good bit of yard, and a fairly good price... which may come down more because come to find out, this guy knew my great grandfather as far back as the 50's... he knew my grandfather while he was growing up as well... if he feels like a family friend, maybe he will give me a little bit better of a deal.... one can always hope i guess... *L*... it's harder than fuck to afford a house on your own if you have nothing saved towards it... and i'm not marrying some dumb ass and moving in with him just so i can have my own house... lol. sooner or later... if i keep looking... something perfect will fall into my lap... i HOPE. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

Good Luck RA! I got damn lucky with my house
and got it while it was under forclosure! It
is valued at $135,000 and I bought it for $48,000!

It is a 6 bedroom, 2 full bath, 2 living rooms,
a dining room, galley kitchen, basement and attic!

Watch your local paper for homes under forclosure!

Holy Canoly!!! that was an AWESOME deal!!! i'm patiently (or not-so-patiently at times, lol) waiting for something like that to come along... i don't wanna buy the first thing that comes along... i've been looking off and on for a year now... but i'd still rather bide my time and find something that is exactly what i want...
