ok, ok... i know we've had a few of these already... but it's late and i'm gettin kinda lazy, lol. i don't feel like going back and looking them up.... besides... i wanna know RECENTLY... what books people have read, what they thought of them, and whether or not they would recommend them to others for reading...
i'm feeling slightly academic... lol. i need interesting reading material... been out of classes for too long... and no longer studying for the all-consuming registry exam which i have since passed... so i need new material!

Birthright by Nora Roberts right now. She's more than a romance novelist. Her books have almost every genre wrapped into one. Check it out.

Here are some of the books I've read lately..
INAMORATA by Joseph Gangemi
It's a really good novel that's story is based about the Spiritulism rage in the 1920's. If you like stories about seances and the occult you'd enjoy this.
Songs of the Humpback Whale by Jodi Picoult
This is an interesting novel that's written from 5 points of view of the characters. It's a very strong book that will make you laugh and want to cry.
The Edge of Winter by Luanne Rice
This book is about new begginings. It's about finding love after loss and about finding your first love. It's a sweet romance novel but with a twist of real pain and problems.
And BMR if you liked Birthright by Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb you should check out Killjoy by Julie Garwood. She's another author that's not strictly romance. She twists in other genreas as well. In Killjoy it's Mystery/Suspence.

And you're welcome Mel. You know me and books. If there's a book thread I'm gonna post on it lol
