I haven't seen ANY of the "pie" movies at all... LOL... *waits for people to scream and throw things and shake me*....

i watched "An Unfinished Life" this weekend... with J. Lo and Robert Redford... i liked it... i'm not really what you would call a J.Lo fan, lol, except that yeah... i guess i sorta am, *L*... of her MOVIES.... lol. not her music... i loved her as the teacher in the movie Jack, where Robin Williams played the big kid... And i love love lovvvvved her in the movie Selena.... that was a sad story.... I also liked Monster-in- Law and the Wedding Planner... so yeah. i guess i do kinda like her movies... for what they are... fluffy and heartstring tugging. OH! i forgot the movie "Enough"... which was actually on TV yesterday i think (i wouldn't know i don't watch regular TV, my mom mentioned it).... i particularly enjoyed the ENDING of that one.... So far about the only two J-Lo movies I like are "Enough" and "The Wedding Planner". I just bought "Ghost Rider" today and need to watch it. Daniel downloaded it and watched it and thought it kicked ass. Hell it's a Nic Cage movie so it more than likely does.

Wow..you can tell it's been awhile since I've been here or I would've responded to this thread sooner. Movies...I love them. And between Mike and I we have a collection of about 400 or so.

RA...to your 80's movie question...

The Lost Boys
Pretty in Pink
Say Anything
The Breakfast Club
16 Candles
Weird Science
The Princess Bride (my absolute favorite)
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
to just name a few

Then theres Pump up the volume which was 1990 but it seriously has an 80's feel. LOVED that movie

I love scary movies also...Especially vamp/werewolves/occult movies such as both Underworld, Blood and Chocolate, Van Helsing, American Werewolf in London & Paris, Dracula 2000, Little Witches, The Covenant, Dreams at Witchhouse, and the list goes on and on and on...

The movies I've seen most recently are Epic Movie, The Man, Blood and Chocolate, Wild Hogs, Pirates of the Carribean 3, The Reaping (Awesome Movie), History Boys, Apocolypto (very good), The Nativity Story (beautifully done), and theres about 20 more in the last few months that I've seen.

RA you should check out IMDB.com and make a list. that way you can rate movies and see what other people have thought of them.

IMDB.com is one of my favorite sites. I usually find that if I am wathing a show or a movie or something and there is an actor or actress I have seen somewhere before I can figure out where I have seen them...LOL. The little things that boggle the mind.

Watched the extended cut of Ghost Rider the other day and it was AWESOME!!! Nic Cage was fricking BUFF in that movie. One scene he actually had his shirt off and he was ripped big time. It was like HOLY!!! I didn't know he had a washboard stomach like that...LOL. All in all the movie was good. A bit on the horroresque side.

but of course! lol...

I got the movie Memento from Netflix and i have to say that it sucked... i usually LOVE stuff like that... i follow it more easily than some... but it was too fragmented... flipping back and forth from past to present... reality to fantasy... and it repeated the same shit over... and over... and OVER again.. the same scene sometimes 4 or 5 times, though each time, it started a bit sooner... admittedly, it WAS clever the way it all came together in the end, but fuuuuuuuck, did anyone other than me actually BOTHER to hang in there for that long? lol. I'm just OCD.. i start a movie, i finish it... it was a cool concept, they just took it too far... beating a dead horse and all that...

i finally got Epic Movie, also... i was cranky the first time i watched it, so i didn't think much of it... LOL. But i've found that with the "Movie" series of movies... sometimes it IS funnier the second time around... there are references in the beginning of their films that are to things that happen later on... You don't really get the joke until after you've seen the end, and are on the second time around...
