On Friday, I received "Neon Angel-The Cherie Currie Story" by Cherie Currie.
It will be my next read, when I can drag myself away from the computer!

That is a great book, Its a little sad in places but overall a very uplifting book of her struggles. When you finish it stop back by and give us your opinion of it.
I read a lot...but I cannot remember authors names very well. Last week I reread Dan Brown's book the Devinici code, before I rent the DVD.
I like this subject, but I will have to add notes in my pocket when ever I come to use the computer.

Thanks for your opinion of it, I can't wait to read it now. Eventually I will find the time, between using the computer and the sports I follow on tv and online.

Hey, it is great to see an NBA fan on board!!! The Spurs certainly look good this year.
I'm afraid I don't have an NBA media guide from the current season to read, but if I did it would be on the New York Knicks!!

Hello & welcome Pete, It is good to see ya.
I just finished reading Vincent Bugliosi's Lullaby and Good Night. It is about a young woman in the 1920's, who left her husband to star on broadway, her husband sets her up as a prostitute so he can get a divorce & custody of thier daughter.
She tries to clear her name and regain her daughter when Tammany Hall members set her up as a murder suspect, and then Vincent who was the prosacuting attourney against Charles Manson in real life gets to add court room drama in this fictional story.
I thought it was a bit slow in spots, but I enjoyed the story.

I finished a great book last week, It was Capricorn Quadrant by Charles Ryan. I think it would make a great movie.
A Russian secret test airplane has a malfunction at 50 miles above Tahita, the pilots die and the plane which is equipt with a secret AI computer systems dumps the pilots bodys and safely crashlands near a sea platfornm that is doing nuculer experments.
The Planes AI computer activates a fusion beam to protect itself and shoots down both French & American Planes and nearly creates WWIII.

I just finished "Witching Hour", by Anne Rice. It is a detailed history of the Mayfair Witches and an supernatural enity that wants to become human.
Great story line and writing by Anne....but it is a cliff hanger (after about 700+ pages), now I have to find a copy of "Lasher", to find out what happens to Rowan, Michael, and Aaron

I have actually read Lasher before. I met Anne in about 91 or '92 and she autographed Lasher & The Body thief for me.
I liked most of her books, But I may have problems reading her story about Jesus???

OH you are going to enjoy Lasher...Did you know that rice recently wrote a book about Jesus. Christ the Lord out of Egypt...She had an epiphany so to speak, while watching her husband deal with cancer.
