to get some Moutain Dew and pick up a couple of prescriptions.

When I left, I had gotten those two items, and a few extra things.

Here is what I left with

2 prescriptions
24 cans of Mountain Dew
12 cans of Nu-grape
1 bag of Ketchup flavored chips
1 can of Loaded Baked Potato Pringles
1 can of Cheesy Onion Dip Pringles

yes....you read that correctly, Ketchup flavored chips. I thought it was strange, but for only a dollar for a fairly good-sized bag, I couldn't pass it up. They were situated next to the the "Salt and Pepper" and the "Worchestershire and Steak" chips, which I did not purchase.

Come ot find out, they taste pretty good, and in all honesty, not that strange. Chips and fries are both fried potatoes, and you eat fries with ketchup....so it makes sense to me, but a little strange at the beginning.

In Australia a year otr two ago they released Meat Pie and Tomato Sauce flavoured chips (that's one flavour, not two).

They were strangely close to what you'd expect!

In all honesty, over the years I've come to appreciate the ability of food manufacturers (if that is the correct terminology) to create different flavors that taste very similar to it's original.

Flavors of ***lipop such as Cherry Cheesecake and Root Beer. Chips such as Ketchup flavored or Sour Cream and Onion

I want to know how they do it....and I'd also like to see some of the taste testers trying some of the "beta" versions of the different flavors....ya know, the in-between stages before they actually find that perfect combination to get the desired taste.

in that previous post....it filtered out the letters l.o.l. so that word was supposed to be l.o.l.lipop

but anyways, just for clarification, a meat pie in Australia is a simple version of an original american Hot Pockets?

here is a link to some of the options Hot Pockets come in...Hot Pockets
