i guess i just never really cared for fast food
to begin with... so when i saw it, i just felt
it added to my complex already.

and yeah... i will admit i have a complex....
just something about 'formed' food bothers me

Didn't make me feel one way or the other... just made me pissed off that so many people are so in love with the stupid thing (doco, movie, whatever). It was shit, the guy is a jerk and anybody with half a brain would know that McDonald's 3 times a day for however long it was would make you sick. It should've been called "Well Der" or something. FUCK!

i'm going to have to agree with KN...i have not seen the movie, but i know what it's about, and i've seen enough reviews and clips to understand what the main idea of it is.

everyone knows (at least anyone with half a brain) that by eating fattening food that often, and getting "extra" fat from your food (by super sizing) you are going to gain weight and risk damaging your health.

the guy made the 'documentary' in order to thwart
the public reaction to the ruling of a judge on
a girl that sued mcdonalds for getting fat.

while i agree it was a 'duh' premise... you have
to admit that this guy is now sitting pretty
in fame and fortune for doing so very little.

and since i see no other place to add this next
part.... i think i'd like to go ahead and bring
up the one area of that movie i actually applauded....
(that had nothing really to do
with the whole mcdonalds thing... )

the first one was the obvious difference in how
the two schools prepared food for their kids...
and the differences in 'quality' thereof...

and the second was the superb point about
obesity being more socially acceptible than
smoking, when its obvious that they are both
just as harmful to one's health.

i literally laughed in cynicism when the guy
(dunno his name, not the main guy) was going
off about people -strangers - making comments to
him in public and making him feel guilty for
smoking.... when no one tends to do the same
thing to the obese because it may 'hurt their
    feelings'.

god, i wish i had written his statement down,
because it was so well said and human....
i may just watch it again for that purpose.

<font size="4" face="Comic Sans MS, Verdana">That is what I really found interesting. I also liked how it talked about how kids are targeted. My friend Jeremy still has the dvd, I'll try and write down what he said if you would like.

the girl suing mickey d's earned a settlement
    of some outrageous price tag....

makes me wonder just how far you can get away
with your bad decisions... such as....

is it possible to also sue coke, pepsi, twinkies,
    etc for your diabetes?

    makes me wonder
