I have the best humiliating Starbucks story ever. In fact, due to it's sheer humiliation factor, I refuse to share it on this board!

the class i'm currently taking requires a large semester long project to be completed. we are in groups of 2 or 3, and to make things flow smoothly, our group has agreed to meet once a week on monday. we first began meeting at uca library, but then moved to the Starbucks in our local Target store. This was most beneficial to me, because it's right around the corner from my office, and i have to be at the building across the street at 7:00, our meetings were at 5:45. So anyways, when we go in there, i always get a coffee of some sort to 1) "pay" for renting the table in the back corner and 2) give me a bit of energy after a long day of work to think about the project. so anyways, i'm not much of a starbucks person, i'd prefer to spend 5 bucks on a can of coffee and make it at home about 50 times over with some sugar and some milk. instead, at starbucks, you pay 5 bucks for a single "cup" of coffee. anyways...

now to the real story...
i was ordering the other day, as i was reading the menu, i dont' know why, but i was going to order the Vanilla Latte, Iced, but as i was reading the menu, i was reading the line just below it which was a Cafe Mocha, which I ordered Iced. I didn't realize i had done this until she called out my order and i barely remembered saying that to her. of course i couldn't complain, that is what i had ordered, and i had no idea what it was going to taste like, so i'd give it a try. IT SUCKED. i was a bit upset at myself, that i had just paid 3 dollars for a drink that didn't taste good and i didn't really even want. so...that is how i made a fool of myself.

Im not a big $3 a cup guy either but the ex used to get a carmel apple cider at Starbucks that was pretty damn good.I think its a seasonal drink on there menu.Every once in awhile I have to get it as an ode to my ex.
