for about a week and a half....I will be traveling through Nashville, TN, Washington DC, and Baltimore MD.

I'll have videos (yes, i said videos) and pictures galore when we get back.

I might be able to post while i'm gone....but whatever...i'm really excited

Well, we have arrived in Washington DC.

Last night, we stayed in a Days Inn in Arlington, VA and it was a pretty big mistake. it was quite old, and quite scary. we had already planned on staying somewhere else tonight, but we have no decided to extend our stay here for two more nights. I do have video of our last hotel, and I will have video of this one as well. I took video and pictures at the Air and Space Museum as well as the baseball game we went to.

I'm going to sign off for now....but just if anyone cares, we are having a great time...

i'll probably check in over the next couple of days with an update of some sort.

Yes, that is a promise that I get them posted, because I have promised them to my family to be posted, so they can view them as well. The current problem is that I'm not real familiar with how this particular video works, so it might take me a while to get it worked out. I am actually going to do that now, so I will try to at least get something posted for your viewing pleasure before the end of the day today. Cristi is sleeping after a LONG day of walking. We went to the National Capital, The Library of Congress, The Supreme Court, Union Station, The National Gallery of Art (both the east and west buildings), and decided against going to the National Archives. We are going to be going out for dinner tonight, possibly at Adams Morgan, but we are undecided. Now...off to the video stuff.

Ladies and Gentlemen...drum roll please....

I present to you the very first digital video that I have released. Yea, it's nothing special, it has an opening page on a blue background with white text. The rest is simply video done by my wife. I have quite a bit more video to share, but on this "high-speed" connection, it takes a while to upload large files. HOWEVER!!!! for those of you still on dialup...i have provided a link to a smaller file, only 486kb that is just as long as the larger, 16mb file, only smaller and not quite as clear. You can choose which you want to download....in fact, you can download the smaller one as a preview to find out if you want the more clear one....your call...here are the links

Anyways...cool video but have you been doing any more work on that front end of that inventory program? Try to get it finished up before you get back.

I'm back....i actually got back a couple of days ago, but honestly forgot to post about it. We took about 600 pictures, and have about 40 minutes of video. I am going to put them on my website as soon as I have time. As everyone knows, it will be a while.

hmm....I didn't notice any problems...but subtitles would be a nice little addition...I'll see what I can do. I've got a couple of the clips almost ready to post. I'll try to add them before I post....hopefully it won't be too difficult
