the other morning (approx. 5:30), i awoke to several loud banging noises. i thought it sounded like someone knocking loudly on the door, but i wasn't sure. as i lay there trying to guess the cause of these sounds (because staying in bed and thinking is not nearly as scary as going downstairs to investigate some strange noises), i heard a loud crash. i immediately went downstairs because i thought the cats had been playing around and knocked something over. to my surprise, the cats had done nothing. the ceiling fan had fallen down!

how in the world does a ceiling fan fall?
this is a story that needs a little more explanation.....

no telling.
it was thought to have been bad installation...
but wtf was it ok for the past two fucking years???
