Couple of Basketball Clips

Here are just a few clips that might be of interest to people. If you want to watch them streaming, you can, doesn't bother me. Or you can download them to your computer and watch them that way.

The first one is from several years ago in the Olympics, Vince Carter Dunks over a guy who is 7'2". It's old, but I still get enjoyment from watching it.

This is from a recent high school or small college game. Simply put, the guy clears the smaller kid. The second dunk isn't as impressive, but felt it wouldn't hurt to leave it in there.

This final one is from a Division 3 game that has been shown on all sort of websites and news broadcasts. The game is in overtime, the team shooting the free throws is up by 1 point with .6 seconds left on the clock. by the way, it's a 90 foot shot.

when i was in 6th grade, i played basketball for
school. it was my school against st. theresa's.
i swear to god some girl made the exact same
shot... i'll never frikken forget it. we were
ahead... and so thought we were gonna win...
but just at the VERY LAST minute... she chunks
that ball as hard as she could... and i remember
thinking, "ain't no way thats going in"....

it was like friggen time stopped... cuz that
ball sure as hell went in.... straight as an
arrow....

yeah, it was purely luck.... and i don't really
care if anyone believes me... but god... that
was so farking amazing....

i've never made a last second shot myself, but I have seen our very own ek3 make two buzzer beaters. One in a tournament championship game against our school's rivals in his senior year. He went coast to coast in about 3 seconds and made the layup as time expired.

the other game, i was actually on the court. I set a back pick for him at half court, the Chris, who was on the other base line through a pass, ek3 caught it in mid stride and made the layup with about half a second left on the clock.

both very incredible games.
