even though i believe my friends only has a 9.0 degree loft. whatever the case, i can't wait to get my hands on that thing and give it a ride.

I used to laugh at people like you.... if i still played golf, i still would.
I knew guys who *since i live by a golf course* would buy the most expensive new titanium yadad yada oversized head drivers... they'd go out and be all excited, could feel their drives going farther, etc...
I'd walk up , with my shitty set of clubs... take out my 3wood, and drive just as far, if not farther than them.
I can drive a bit over 288 *probably around 290-300y* with my 3wood.
And it's shitty.
So i'm very hard pressed to see spending any amount of real money on a "good" club...
it's pathetic what people do.

that's all well and good...you are also about 2x my size. i consistently drive about 240 or so with my 3-wood, and i don't even own a driver. it was my friend's birthday present, and he got it at about half price, plus got a 20 dollar box of balls. it's tough to pass that up. and yes, it added about 30-40 yards on my drive, in fact, i pulled out a 300 yard drive for the first time in a long time. i shot incredible, and i think it was just the confidence it gave me. and also...if you knew my friend, and the money he's rollin in .....it wouldn't matter. the most i have ever spent on a golf at one time (outside of green fees and carts) was i spent 25 dollars on a nike glove, only because i was playing that day on one of the states top golf courses for free, and i didn't have a glove that looked good enough to wear....so i had to get one of their overpriced gloves in the pro shop. eventually, i will be getting a new set of irons, but that is a ways away. and me spending that much in golf is like you spending that much on a dirtbike

huh? i bought a golf glove for me...from the pro shop...i didn't buy a glove for anyone else, although I did let chris wear my old Footjoy glove because he had lost his.
i might have said bought for someone else, but it was a complete mistake.

you said you purchased a glove because you were
at some hoity-toity golf course and you didn't
wanna wear a raggedy glove or something...
therefore, you purchased the glove for all the
others... and not really for any other purpose.
no biggie
mmmmmmmm.... biggie.....
i'm friggin hungry and that word made me think
of biggie fries and a biggie coke.....

you are correct, my mistake, well i was in need of a golf glove anyways, and i knew that i would be playing a full 18, i didn't think that my old glove we be holding up for all 18 holes, so i went ahead and got the new glove, however, i did purchase a nicer one mainly so that i would not look like a duffer like i am. i wanted to at least look like i could afford to play on the course (yes, very worldly/i can't think of the word). also, i had been wanting the glove for quite some time, so i got it, even though if i had waited about 5 hours, i could have gotten it on ebay for about 15 bucks less, but hey, no sweat, it's butter soft, it's white, and it works great.
