Got a call this morning....

from our real estate agent, and even though i forgot to post here that we were in the market for a house....

our offer got accepted, and we are hoping to close the deal on the 20th of this month...i'm going to be a home owner...

I got a print out of the floor plan this afternoon, i'll try to either get it scanned, or take digi pic and post it....so everyone can get an idea of the layout.....

we went and picked out the wall and carpet colors this afternoon...and i called another mortgage company to get another quote....

a funny thing happened about this though...currently, we are in an apartment, and i thought the lease was up at the end of this month. so i went in today to give them the (what i thought) required 2 week notice that we were moving out, only to find out that it was a 30 day notice, and they only accept those on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of every month. so i called cristi and had her call up there to let her use her female persuasive powers to get us off the hook of an extra months rent.

she called, talk to the guy, called me back, only to let me know that our lease is not up until the end of march [img]eek.gif[/img] which means that the hurry up on all the house finding and purchasing is not necessary, we have to pay for next months apartment rent anyways, and therefore we will have two places of residence for a full month.....oh well

i was thinking about renting it to my brother or something for that time at a reduced price to get some of my money back....i doubt that will happen though
