...to hit someone in the drive thru of a Wendy's.
well, apparently, i found someone who should know....
Here's the story...
I'm in line waiting to get my 2 Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe with 2 waters and i look in my rear view to see a vehicle. (i believe it was a chevy blazer) slam on its breaks to prevent from hitting me. as soon as i saw that, i knew, i just knew for sure that she was going to hit me before i was out of there...i don't know why, but i did.
we move up another car's lenght, and sure enough...she got even closer than the previous time, although she didnt' slam on the breaks this time.
finally, i get my food, i set it in the seat beside me, and then it happens....WHAM!!!. i thought my engine had died or something, because it gave quite a jerk. then i realized that the engine was still going, and it wasn't making any funny soudns. so i look in my rear view, and all i can see is 2 eyeballs and a white palm waving to me, trying to signal "oops, my bad". so i pull up....and get out of the way and get out to see what damage happened. luckily i still have my hitch and ball attached to the back of my truck, so if she actually hit anything with much force, it would have left a whole in her front bumper, which i didnt' check on.
if i wasn't in such a good mood today, i sure would have had a short conversation with the lady. and if the cheat hadn't have been so kind to let me vent a little before posting this, there would be a lot more capatilization and bold letters in this post.
but seriously...how bad of a driver do you have to be to not only nearly hit a car in the drive thru TWICE...but to actually hit someone while virtually parked in a Fast food drive thru....

maybe she was so used to wendys lightning fast service that she didnt expect your wheels to ever stop rolling when they were handing you your food

i never thought of that, but you make a good point..
sadly, i have noticed a slight decrease in speed when it comes to wendy's drive thru..
however, about 2 or 3 weeks ago, i had hte most wonderful experience. my wheels honestly did not stop rolling from the time i placed my order. i crawled by the first window, and put exact change in the ladies hand. then i sped up a little to the next window, and she had the food hanging out the window as i drove by...as i was half way out of the line, the lady said "Have a great day!!!"
it was wonderful.

Wow. That's good fast-food service..
When I order my *special* burgers at McDonald's (only meat and ketchup on them), whether it's drive through or not, they make us wait "2-3 minutes"... in other words about 5 minutes...

It's coz you're so fussy about what you eat Amy. Just get what your given!
...we should go through the drive-thru tomorrow and time them!
