is one of the biggest wastes of time i've ever experienced....

first, the story just wasn't there....it tried, but it just didn't happen.

the camera work was not very pleasing, after the movie is over, you understand, but during the movie, it's extremely frustrating to watch.

i've still got quite a few questions about this little movie...but for everyone else, never, and i repeat, NEVER waste your time on this movie....

i think the only reason i half way liked it, was the anticipation for some numerical breakthrough, but for others....without a strong love for math and numbers....it would be completely pointless.

I will however, post some of my favorite lines from the movie, simply because they struck a chord...

    Hey, KingBean here.

I thought Pi was an awesome movie, I really liked it. It's been a while since I saw it, so I can't really go into much detail... but yeah, it was cool.

One thing I do recall is the brain scene in the subway... and also the ants. I just really liked the.. uhh.. the things that were in the movie. Not 'storyline' as such (although I did like that) but I mena I liked the scenarios that the main character found himself in. I really liked the use of sound also especially in the subway scene.

And I think that if it were filmed in colour it would have lost it's groove.

i loved that movie. i've seen it a few times...
but like kn, its been a while since i've last
    seen it.

i can also see how the movie can leave someone
walking away with a feeling of lacking... but
i don't necessarily think you are supposed to.

the most influential segment (for me) was the
consistant GO game... and the rhetoric that
consumed it. i do believe that the point of the
movie wasn't really surface-level... but moreso
    taken on the whole...

in other words... its too detailed for me to
get involved with. i'd love to really go on and
on about what i felt it *expressed*... but it
    would be a long post.

    in short....

Only 'annoyance' I had with the movie was the high-pitched whining during his headaches. Everything else worked. A mortal whom accidentally discovers God's 'name'. It's like a low-budget Indiana Jones movie; discovering His 'true name' as opposed to the Ark or Grail.
