thats what happened with me and word poker...
i still got the trophy cuz i was the *apparently*
second highest of the day.

yeah... that site maintenance thing popped up
at that time. i had a suspicion that you wouldn't
get your dues.
i have no doubt you can do it again.
only this time, i'm going to do it better
well, now the bad news, i did not get credit for the score in the high scores, i did not get my neopoints, and i did not get a trophy. i am going to have to do it again....
the recent coversation we had inspired me to
dust off the ol' lawn balls and try my hand
once again at gourmet club bowls....
in my first game (in almost a week)... i have
already increased my score by 110 points!!!!
i had made it to the semi-finals.... and got
snagged on the white elephante... whatever his
name was.
as i told you the other night, i don't ever
spin my shot. i'm not a curver.... i'm a
straight shooter (no pun). a level that high,
semi-finals/white elephante SEEMED like you
needed to curve your throw.
hell, the white elephante was doing it!!!
but not me.
yeah... there were two holes and two zeenanas...
but i managed to stick in there shot for shot
by shooting between the two zeenanas (imagine
that!) the score was once 4 - 2 his favor...
but then i busted out some ball shots and
came back up....
finally it was down to 5 - 4 my favor...
i needed a measley two points to kick his sweet
elephatine ass....
i was the first to shoot.... and because of having
the last ball advantage, the wanker passed a
hard shot and knocked 3 out of 4 balls off screen.
"BS!!!" i say out-loud...
as the white elephante takes his victory....
