    simple question...which do you prefer....the cake part of the cake? or the icing part of the cake

    depends on the cake

    however i'm assuming you mean the homemade betty
    crocker stuff with tubs of icing.

    naturally icing.

    unless its a store-bought cake... ie kroger...
    to which i prefer the cake (i hate institutional
    icing!!!!)

    im more of a good moist cake girl. icing is a bit sweet for me but the cake must be moist!! otherwise you crave that icing to make it moist...

    That really does depend on what kind of cake.. If it's some funky cold madeira, then, cake.. but if it's your average sponge cake -> icing.
