I agree, knowing and trusting the others in your party is a big plus! Not much worse than a "greedy-gus" who grabs all the good-goodies (rares and uniques) and won't even offer them to others.

I'm flexable on times, being 'on vacation' and all Mostly I solo too, but have done some on-line playing. Lag can be a huge problem, even for people with DSL and stuff! Finding people who share treasure nicely is a wonderful thing, but sadly it's pretty rare.

So if we start new charecters, and bring them up to level 10 (a good level to start with) first, we could do that and then get together later. We'd have to figure out who'd play which charecter, Amazon, Barb & etc. It's best to balance a party And keep some goodies we find for the others, just in case they only find junk. And agree on a Realm. Or we could just do the first act alone to "beef up" and get together for act 2.
Sound good? Is it do-able?

Still haven't figured out a good time for myself yet. Hmm. Too late at night isn't possible, except maybe on the weekends. Firday and Sat.

I had started an Amazon in the US East realm. She's at level 6 at the moment. Can we move characters to different realms?

In US East, I've got a Druid at lev 12. I've just smacked the Smith around, so I'm almost to act 2.
I suggest we all get to act 2 with a char, then meet up to do the second act together Sound like fun? I've found some OK junk for Necro, Sorc and Barb so far.

But, where would we "meet" up to start Act 2? I assume each game has to be started from the beginning.

I think a game starts at the beginning unless it's already been saved on BattleNET.

I'm guessing no one has a hardcore character they'd want to play with?? I've always wanted to play a multiplayer game with my hardcore character. (If I can find him that is)

I guess I'm still confused. If we start a game, say one called 'ChatterBox, how do we all get to Act 2 in it, if we're not supposed to do any solo gaming?

I think you have to have killed Diablo or finished act 5 to be allowed to run hardcore charecters.

It's simple to get together! We all log on at the same time, in the same realm in the same area (there's Class-specific areas and such, just go to the default area for US East and we all should be there) someone makes a game, say "ChatterBox" with a password, say "Oreo" then we click 'Join Game', type in the name of the game at the top, and the password where it asks for it. And Viola~! We're in! With the password, no one else can get in to spoil our fun

So, lets all finish act 1 and meet in the start of act 2 When is another matter, but it'll all work out, it'll be fun!

Two simple guidelines I'd suggest are:
>we all try to meet once a week for an hour or two, and
>no 'solo' gaming outside the group. It's just less fun if one char is lev 55 and the rest are lev 15, you know?
Perhaps if you missed a day, you could 'level up' to where the others are, that'd be OK...
Sharing treasure and goodies is of course a given

Well, we solo game until we reach act 2, at which point we all meet up. So once you kill Andareal, and travel east, you save it and play other charecters until 2-3 of us are there too, and we figure out a common time (There being act 2, not neccessarily the same game yet)

Once we pick a date & time, one person makes the game and the rest can join in, knowing the password! It'll start in act 2, or we can use the WayPoint to get from act 1 to 2 once we've killed Andareal. It's easier than it sounds.
