April Fool's

A friend of mine's fuck buddy called him on April 1 to inform him that her period was 2 months late and had been sick every morning for the past week or so.

He is from Columbia and says he hasn't yet grown accustomed to April Fools Day (I guess they don't acknowledge it there???) and believed every word. He responded with, "why did you not say something earlier? I would have taken off work to go to the doctor with you. What do you want me to do?"

Cruel as it was to play this prank on my poor friend (who was traveling with his father from Memphis to LR when the news broke) I found it to be very funny.
