Funny.

It would be even funnier if I believed it had happened.

bwahahahhaha... that rules!

even if the text is bullshit, i know stuff like
this happens, and i fear it happening to me...
(if ever i were to live in such areas)

my aunt and uncle live in an area similar to that
in houston. they have strict 'neighborhood' rules
about house/lawn decorations and shit like that.
the neighborhood 'watch' can adequately fine a
member of the 'club' if several notices to
conform have been ignored.
since the entire subdivision encases a stuck-up
golf course, the 'neighborhood' rules apply to
the back of the house as well.

i couldn't bear to live like that.
i also couldn't image plopping the *cough*XXX*cough*
amount of money they paid for that house....
much less in an area ruled by the neighborhood
gestapo....

but i admit, its a damn fine neighborhood... in
as far as crime to nil, fancy houses, and blah
blah blah...

i suppose i just ruined my argument

The woman at 138 has a saddle and stirrups decorating her mailbox. What is that all about? I, for one, am not a cowboy, do not like cowboys and find it horrifying how the cowboys treated the Indians and Tom Landry. That guy was the only coach they ever had. Once they fired him, he died. Was that fair? I find cowboys to be highly offensive.
</font></td></tr></table></td></tr></table></BLOCKQUOTE>

HAHAHA.

i am shellshocked that there are neighbourhood associations such as this one! comming from a neighbourhood that doesn't speak to any other (i've never even seen most of my neighbours. ever!) my worst nightmares of domestic suburbia are a reality!!

Oh Boy.....Boone NC is like 2 hours from me..*L..and shatz..those houses in that area do sell for 140,000...and thats actually considered cheap...home owners associations have some of the stupidest rules..but those were out there..if it was real..

Boone used to have the Wizard of Oz amusement park...complete with a sideways tilted house and a yellow brick road... ..just thought i'd toss that in..
