Lately, when I've needed to cuss and say damn it, I've thought GD in my head...it never comes out...I just think it...I don't like to say it, and honestly, I don't like to think it...

But I've had this discussion before with some friends and when you say God Damn it...could it be possible that you are simply asking a request of God...that he might damn something? Still...I don't like to say it. *shrugs*

I think it's because I've become so conditioned to thinking that's it's "bad" to say, and therefore, just as bad to think...or maybe because I'm afaid I will think it so clearly that one day it's going to come out...in fact, just yesterday I got out the God part, but stopped myself there...I fear it's starting. You had this discussion with me...I personally don't say it...but it's mainly because I have so many other cuss words in my arsenal, that I don't need it...but the way I see it as is just how you said...I mean look at it...you aren't saying "Damn God"...if you were damning God that's how you would have to say it...You are say "God damn it"...the 'it' being whatever made you cuss in the first place, therefore I never really understood why this statement was such a big deal...I mean the bible talks about things being 'damned' all the time...and that is all you are really saying anyway...

<font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">lmao... its so true (for me).... but GD just rolls
    off of the tongue...

but aside from that... i see nothing wrong with
it... even from a religious standpoint (which i
wasn't going to get in to... but since wes
    brought it up...)

if you hit your toe on the door and shout "GOD
DAMN IT!"... its not like the door will feel
bad because it stands a good chance of being
    damned by god.

LMAO... i'm sorry... i'm laughing so hard from
that visual that i have tears in my eyes and
    i can't see to type....

    must end......
