A particularly funny one from last night. I was talking to friend of mine when a man walks up and asks for change for a $20. Naturally, my friend walks away while I help the man. The guy say, "I really don't need change, I just thought I would come over here and rescue you."
I thought this was rather conceited of him. To think that I needed rescuing and he was the one to save me. But also real dumb, because what kind of a line is do you have change for a $20?

how many times have you told me not to talk to you too much cause it could hurt my tips...you don't even want me to lie and tell creepy guys that I have a boyfriend so they'll leave me alone cause it would hurt my tips...I guess you wanted me to push the guy and say, "Hey, buddy...back off, he's my friend!"...I thought you'd be happy I got 1/4 of the money for doing nothing...but, of course...I'm wrong....again...if I see him again I'll dot his eye

What you are implying I say about the B/F stuff and what you did the other day were no where close to being the same...I'm not suggesting you say..."Hey creepy guy, that's my boyfriend."...what is wrong with saying..."That's my friend, he wasn't bothering me."...but now you made your friend look stupid to the creepy guy...and to whomever the creepy guy talks to...like he was just some jerk trying to hit on you...but it is good to see how you order things now...

everyone does this. its only convenient to bring
it up when you aren't on the receiving end of the
fire.
but as far as the dickhead being mr. white night...
i guess she coulda just said, "its ok. he's cool."
or just kinda skimmed it.
i think its risky business to behave 'normally'
in your workplace if that includes the possibility
of people getting shitfaced. its a whole different
scene.
sure its easy for some guy to say "just tell him
blah blah blah..." or whatever....
but its entirely different when you are a little
girl (and i don't mean that derrogatory to you,
italipino)...
sometimes it is best to keep your mouth shut and
play along... especially when your BF or 'friend'
won't be there every time.
