A knock out time...

So, last night while getting all of my frames together for my senior show (which will be on display starting July 14, gallery 3 in the UALR fine arts building) I cut my finger pretty badly on some glass. It was bleeding profusely and stung really bad when I ran it under water. I got really dizzy just looking at all the blood. I knew it was pretty deep, but I didn't know how big or deep a cut had to be before you had to get it stitched up. I put a couple of band aids over it and kept working.

So, today after class I stopped by the nurses office just to find out how deep a cut had to be before you got stitches...she informed me that it needed to be done no longer than 8 hours after the cut had happened. I said ok and asked for Neosporan. She said that was no good if it wasn't cleaned properly, so she took me back to a room and proceeded to clean my very deep, very bloody cut. It hurt and was bleeding so badly, I couldn't take it. After watching for about 45 seconds, I passed out... cold, on the table. She had to break an amonia strip to wake me. When I came to, my cut was all wrapped up and taken care of. So, it's ok now. I just realized that I don't deal well with pain or blood...maybe if it wasn't my own...

Well, Mr. I like to make and ASS out of U and Me...I got my cd, one more printed piece and the cigar piece together...Not to mention going over to your grandma's to pick up the boards...I stayed there for a good 35-40 minutes talking to her and Lauren. Danielle came over at about 10, I knew I'd have all Sunday to work...so I stopped for the night and finished last night.
