I was just going around my usual boards and reading some of the posts and got disgusted by the amount of neopet shit on one board I shall not name (that's a toughy).
I immediately thought to myself, "These boards are useless to me and shitty now. I'm never reading hostboard boards again." Then, I took a step back and thought, "what the fuck else do I want these people to be talking about?" I should be glad you guys are talking about neoshit and not killing people or doing tons of drugs or something that would only put worry in my life.
Right now, I read the posts and think, "who gives a fuck about neopets." And go about my day. If things were different, I might read things and worry or have them consume my thoughts.
So, in, well...I don't know, but...in (insert your own word) of my recent realization, I've decided to start posting my own stuff on a consistant basis because I don't like reading you guy's stuff about neopets, but rather enjoy the replies from different people, which in essence, is hostboard. ek3, hope you don't mind, but I'll be using this board to posts these new topics as they arise...starting today...also hope you know, you'll prolly be the main topic of a lot of them...new topic to follow

not all posts are about neopets. shatzy came up with a pretty good idea and that is to label all neopet threads with an (NP) beside them. This will make it obvious which threads are neopet related. If you dont see (NP) then you can rest assured that it is "Italipino Safe".
i think that the real problem is that you know that you too will become addicted to neopets if you ever give them a chance.

I don't know if I'd get addicted...I love the sims, but have yet to be addicted to the game as you guys are...really, I think it's just silly and seeing how it's gotten all of you, quite frankly, I would feel like a follower, or some kind of neo conquest...I'm going to stand strong for all those who wanted to stay away, but couldn't fight anymore...just call me Frodo...actually call me Sam...Frodo was a *ussy.

i don't mind that you wish to stay clear of neopets.
i can kinda see how the board has changed for the
most part.... but if i were to explain why that is....
i'd be explaining more than i probably should.
so i'll just make up a cliche reply and say that
its because neopets is something to pass the time.

i read all the stuff going on on Shatzy's board and wondered, "if people don't like what's being posted, why don't they just do what I did and post other stuff about things they like instead of pissing people off?" JN has been a great forum for me to post anything stupid that I want...and I'm sure other boards will happily accept other posts...
