well as if it wasnt bad enough my parents staying up all night not getting any sleep trying to sort out there freaking differences but for fark sakes the goat had to jump out of its paddock and got into mums pride and joy, her veggie garden.
this is of course dads fault because he never fixed the fence so while he tries to get the goat i can hear mum cursing "its all a FUCKING waste of time" repeatidly.
what a great way to start the day i thought however as i was waiting for my bus i recieved a text message from a friend of mine asking me how i was and i came to the conclusion how much i love peoples innocense.
i mean he new nothing of how my morning had been going and then when he asked me how my day was going i couldnt help but smile and chuckle.
innocense, i like it

my fucking goats escaped my pen A THOUSAND times...
making a rucus of the neighborhood and getting
all the people peeved at me.
i made my pen BY MYSELF without the fucking help
of anyone... so i always took it as a sign of
bad construction which ended up being a straight
shot to my self-esteem.
no matter how high i made that fence... no matter
how tough i made the gate... those fuckers
ALWAYS escaped. it often amazed me.
it was even more of a chore to get them to return...
especially when we lived in a small valley with
no fences. fortunately they were familiar with
the pen and were surrounded by steep hills so
they eventually ran back in (after giving me
quite the workout).
while your friend was innocent to your circumstance,
so too was the goat... doing only what goats do.
i have gardened in my life and i know how terrible
it is when animals (or other) destroys all that
hard work. but the fact of the matter is....
it will return.
while your dad prolly shoulda fixed the damn
pen... preventing that morning's occurance from
happening... it did create a situation in which
you were momentarily detached from the reality
of things and pondered the value of innocence.
that can never be replaced.
