I imagine you can use them in pairs. You just have to connect a pair. With a pair of what you have (16 ohm), If you connect them in parallel you will have 8 ohm. If you connect them series you will have 32 ohm.

Sorry, I was not clear. What I want to know if they can be used one each for left and right channels. The production years are probably a bit apart, would the internals be identical or they may have some major differences?

They are both K's, so can't be that far apart. Should be fine.

Listen to them and see how they sound. Open the covers and see if the diaphragms are original. And also you could test them with a program like Dats. I would do all those things personally. Starting with listening.
